Em grande parte da safra, os valores pagos pela cebola ficaram abaixo dos custos de produ\u00e7\u00e3o, levando o setor a solicitar decreto de emerg\u00eancia em Ituporanga diante da crise enfrentada pelos agricultores.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"1107\">O cen\u00e1rio come\u00e7ou a melhorar apenas ap\u00f3s o encerramento das safras do Rio Grande do Sul e do Paran\u00e1, quando Santa Catarina passou a responder por grande parte do abastecimento nacional. Com isso, houve avan\u00e7o no escoamento da produ\u00e7\u00e3o e recupera\u00e7\u00e3o gradual dos pre\u00e7os.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1109\" data-end=\"1372\">No acumulado da safra, a cebola vermelha foi comercializada em m\u00e9dia a R$ 1,39 por quilo em Ituporanga. J\u00e1 nesta \u00faltima semana de maio, os \u00faltimos lotes da variedade crioula foram negociados a R$ 2,02 por quilo, valor 4% inferior ao registrado na semana anterior.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1374\" data-end=\"1678\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Para a pr\u00f3xima temporada, a expectativa \u00e9 de redu\u00e7\u00e3o significativa da \u00e1rea plantada em Santa Catarina.
